Maternity Session

Capturing their newest addition where it all began

Rachel contacted me earlier last year to schedule a maternity session for her growing family. She had a very specific request, she wanted to shoot her session at her wedding venue in Leesburg, Virginia, on her anniversary. After some thorough research, she found me and asked if I would be willing! I was super excited for the opportunity. It’s always wonderful when a client chooses you to capture their family memories. It’s even nicer when the client is an award winning wedding photographer based in Maryland.

Rachel, her husband, and her beautiful daughter met me at the venue, Riverside on the Potomac. It was so fun to hear about specific spots where they took pictures their first time there. Notice the wooden arbor where they exchanged vows, the floral garden and the wide open fields. We prayed for some sun and God came through! I’ll never forget weaving through the fields in the owner’s golf cart, with Rachel at the helm, as we chased the light.
