Cake Smash – Luca Turns One!

A Boho Surfer Themed Cake Smash Session

Luca’s mama, Marla, contacted me requesting a session for her youngest son’s first birthday. Marla is talented wedding photographer and has trusted me to photograph her sweet babies for their newborn and smash sessions. Her first cake smash with her older son was “white” themed. And if you know Marla, you know she loves all things white! However, this time she wanted to add a little color and a subtle, but sweet theme. She sent me a color palette of whites, neutrals, sage greens, and soft blues. She wanted palm leaves, natural wood elements and a tiny surfboard. I was excited! And so was Luca! He was the perfect little smasher!
